CRISIL SME Ratings
At Transparent, we provide SME Ratings from CRISIL that enjoys high level of creditability
with all nationalized as well as private banks of India. It can be briefed in following
points:

The need for the performance and credit rating mechanism for SSI units was
highlighted in the Union Budget of 2004-05. Accordingly National Small Industries
Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) of India has been appointed as Nodal Agency for implementation
of the scheme through CRISIL in consultation with Indian Bank Association and Rating
Agencies.

National Small Industries Centre (NSIC), under Ministry of SSI, Government
of India had also announced a central subsidy for SSIs ranging from Rs 25000 to
Rs 40000.

If any of the SMEs is having any business relationship (may be a simple
current account) with any of the banks (for ex: State Bank of India, Central Bank
of India, UCO Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, etc) with whom CRISIL had entered
a MOU then there is further concession in rating fees for limited period.

know the name of your Bank and we will also provide you with copy of MOU entered
with Head Office of your Bank along with copy of circular that has been circulated
by Head Office of your Bank to its branches all over India.
